Student
Tutoring
The family do not need their son to gain any formal qualifications, but do require that he completes all the courses that would be taught in a university-level Business course. This exciting opportunity offers considerable freedom for learning without concern for those aspects of a typical foundation course (such as A levels) that are not actually required for a Business degree.
The boy’s progress will be assessed annually by visiting business experts from well-known institutions. These experts will discuss with the student what he has studied and provide their professional opinion of his competence in these areas.
Hours and Holidays
Between January and June 2007, the tutor will be entitled to 4 weeks paid holiday at times convenient to the client. (The long-term contract will have 9 weeks paid holiday per annum)
Other Factors
There may be some travel with the family, but no details of this are known at present.
The client recognises that a tutor relocating at short notice may have some expenses - such as those incurred by giving insufficient notice for termination of a rental agreement, or early termination of a current contract - and the client will contribute to such costs if necessary.
Applicants may apply for either start – January 2007 or August 2007.
In your letter of application, please state clearly which start date you are interested in.
