Canada, France & Japan
A thoughtful and deliberate family is seeking a teaching couple to take full professional responsibility for the education of their two boys, aged seven and three, from September 2026. This unique and rewarding role will be based across Canada, France and Japan, with additional regional travel.
The post is a commission to design, deliver, and assess a complete educational programme for two children at a formative stage of their development, in partnership with parents who think at the level of values and direction, while giving the educators they select the space to execute effectively.
The family has chosen to educate the children outside of conventional schooling for reasons of intellectual ambition rather than convenience. They are looking for the same ambition from the educators they appoint.
Beijing
A family based in Beijing seeks an experienced and adaptable Tutor to support their two young children, aged 4 and 1. The Tutor must be committed to fostering a quintessentially English, yet bicultural, culturally enriching learning environment that promotes early development, strong communication skills, and confidence in English language use. The role requires full-time support for the older child through immersive English exposure, alongside creating a stimulating environment for the younger child through shared activities, particularly music and interactive play. The Tutor will also assist in planning educational aspects of family travel, incorporating enriching experiences into their time abroad. The family travels frequently, and the Tutor must be flexible, proactive, and comfortable working within a dynamic household alongside nannies and other staff, while maintaining a clear educational focus.
Wellington, Florida
London
An exceptional, intellectually rigorous, and highly organised Tutor is required for a full-time, long-term homeschooling role with a boy aged 8 and completing US Grade 3. While his age would normally place him in UK Year 4 in the coming academic year, he has already been working at or above this level in his studies. The position will commence on 1 September 2026 and will be based primarily in London, with extended periods in South Carolina, Massachusetts, and international travel. The role demands advanced mathematical capability, native-level English instruction, and native-level fluency in a second language. Chinese and Japanese are strongly preferred, though French, Italian, or Spanish would also be welcomed. The ability to integrate values-based education, global citizenship, and experiential learning into a rigorous but joyful academic framework is essential.
Austin
