The Students
The girls have been assessed with a combination of ADD, NVLD and ASD. Detailed evaluations have been carried out and these will be made available to shortlisted candidates.
The Tutoring Role
There is a well-resourced, separate schoolroom near the family home. The Tutor should not limit their work to classroom-based activities, but should develop the academic skills of the students through their interests. The girls respond well to a merit and reward system.
The family has a nanny who can be contacted during the school day should the need arise and who will help to arrange some of the after school activities for the girls. It is expected that the Tutor will be in regular communication with the family and nanny in regards to academic, emotional and social progress so that consistent strategies can be employed at school and home.
Hours, Holidays, and Travel
There will be a minimum of 9 weeks paid vacation per annum.
The location of the assignment is in SW11. The Client will reimburse the Tutor monthly in arrears for public transport used during the previous month. The Tutor will need to keep the receipts or used tickets for this and supply a monthly spreadsheet.
