A group of schools requires a Coordinator to improve their overall quality and effectiveness. This is a senior position and will likely be filled by an ex-head teacher or someone of similar standing.

The Coordinator will conduct an analysis for all of the schools in the cluster, and identify targets of opportunity for enhancement. She will develop a comprehensive school improvement plan, including practical means to accomplish the goals she identifies in concert with the targets identified by the ADEC. Subsequently, she will ensure that the school improvement plan is appropriately implemented through rigorous monitoring.

The position of Coordinator would suit someone who has considerable school leadership experience, such as a former head of school. She should have at least a Master's degree, preferably in Education, and at least 4-5 years of experience in the area of school improvement with exposure to project management. Experience with science and math related subjects at senior high school level is helpful.
